The President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir, UK, Raja Fahim Kayani, has condemned the brutal killing of three civilians by Indian troops in custody in Poonch district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
civilians, Muhammad Showkat, Safeer Hussain and Shabbir Ahmad were among eight men picked up by the Indian Army and were martyred on December 22.
Raja Fahim Kayani in a statement issued in Birmingham lamented that killing of innocent civilians during custody in occupied Kashmir has become a routine of the Indian Army as Kashmiri youth are being arrested, tortured and martyred on a daily basis. The way India is spilling blood in the occupied territory and the speed with which it is committing genocide to turn the Muslim majority into a minority must be a matter of concern for human rights bodies, especially the United Nations, he said.
Raja Fahim Kayani said that the troops involved in the custodial killing of the civilians should be held accountable. He said India has waged a full-fledged war against the people of Kashmir to suppress their just struggle for their internationally-recognized right to self-determination.
He urged the world human rights organizations to raise their voice against the ill-treatment and oppression of innocent Kashmiris by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. He also appealed to the world powers to take notice of the Indian brutalities in the territory.
